LARGEST WASTEWATER PROJECT IN KUWAIT
The 1200MW substation (UMHN-W) as part of the UAH Wastewater Treatment Project has been successfully energized by Ministry of Electricity & Water (MEW) on April 25th 2022.

At the beginning of April, WTE Wassertechnik GmbH, Kuwait Branch took over the management, operation and maintenance of the Al-Riqqa and Umm Al Hayman wastewater treatment plants, as well as various wastewater pumping stations in Kuwait.
Extract from WTE-GB 2017/18. The consortium WTE / IFA was the most successful bidder for the construction of a wastewater treatment plant including sewerage system and pumping stations, and was able to sign the Letter Agreement on November 8, 2018. (This enables WTE to establish the project company, which in turn will sign the PPP Contract and the further project contracts).
